Client Activator - Error 30004:
Evaluation - HyperChem Evaluation does not work
Solution:
After installing the HyperChem 7.5 Professional Evaluation you will be able to run HyperChem for 10 days. To run HyperChem, select HyperChem Professional from the Start Menu. You will be prompted with a Client Activator screen which will allow you to activate HyperChem, or to try HyperChem. Please select the 'Try' button to run and evaluate HyperChem during the Evaluation period. After that time, the 'Try' button will no longer appear and the HyperChem Evaluation will no longer function.
If you have purchased and installed HyperChem, then please contact license@hyper.com with your serial number and locking code.
Evaluation - No 'Try' Button while running the HyperChem Evaluation
Solution:
The HyperChem Evaluation is started when you select the 'Try' button at the Client Activator prompt. If this button is not available, there are two possibilities.
The first is that the Evaluation period has expired. Once this has happened, you will no longer be able to run HyperChem on that computer. You may install the HyperChem Evaluation on another computer however. In certain cases, such as if the date of your computer is changed, or if there is a conflict between HyperChem Evaluation and another program, the Evaluation period may expire prematurely. There is no workaround for this issue.
The second possibility, is that you have an older copy of our HyperChem Evaluation. The Licensing mechanisms for older versions of the Evaluation will no longer work. If you are given an option to register on the internet then you have an older copy of the HyperChem Evaluation. You will need to download the current Evaluation, or contact your HyperChem reseller for a current CD.
Client Activator - Error: "E0009 -- Could not launch the Client Activator (error=10012)."
Solution:
Please do the following:
1. While logged on as a user, download and execute the following file:
http://hyper.com.winhost6.atlantic.net/downloads/support/AInst2202.exe
This will install the Client Activator.
2. Remove the previous license by deleting the file:
C:\Hyper75\program\lservrc
This is where the HyperChem stores the license. If none is available, you will be prompted to supply a license file when HyperChem starts.
3. Execute HyperChem and supply the license you have been sent by Hypercube.
Client Activator - "Error code: 10203; An unknown error 30004 occurred; Please contact technical support' while installing HyperChem."
These two error codes appear when the licensing mechanism becomes corrupt during the installation of the license key. Please follow the procedure below:
Solution:
1. First, please remove the previous license by deleting the file C:\Hyper75\Program\lservrc
2. Run HyperChem. The HyperChem Client Activator should start.
3. Confirm that the locking code has not changed from when you first received the license.
4. Browse to the license file attached and click OK.
Solution 2:
Please do the following:
1. Remove the previous license by deleting the file C:\Hyper75\Program\lservrc.
2. Copy the license file (e.g. licensefile.lic) directly into the HyperChem program folder, usually C:\Hyper75\Program and rename it to 'lservrc' (should not end with '.lic').
3. Run HyperChem again.
Solution 3:
If you still get the error, then set the Windows environment variable:
'LSFORCEHOST=no-net'
Try to run HyperChem again. If this doesn't work, then reset the environment variable to:
'LSFORCEHOST=localhost'.
On a Windows 95, 98 or ME client, set the environment variable by including the line 'SET LSHOST=localhost' in the autoexec.bat file of the client computer. You will need to restart the computer before this change will go into effect.
On an Windows NT or 2000 client set the environment variable by selecting 'Properties' from My Computer and selecting the 'Advanced' tab. Click on 'Environment Variables...' and then click New under 'User variables.' The variable name should be LSHOST and the value is localhost.
Solution 4:
1. Download the following file:
http://hyper.com.winhost6.atlantic.net/downloads/support/lsapiw32.zip
2. Unzip the file into the \Hyper7\Program folder.
3. Try HyperChem again.
Solution 5:
Please uninstall HyperChem and reinstall. Make sure that you install the standalone, software-licensed version.

Client Activator - Error: "SentinelLM: Insufficient resources available, possibly out of memory."
Solution:
Client Activator - Error 30004:
Solution:
SentLM - lsapiw32.dll problems (30004/10203)
Please do the following:
1. Download and extract lsapiw32.dll from here:
ftp.hyper.com/support/lsapiw32.zip
2. Copy the file into the HyperChem program folder, usually C:\Hyper6\program, overwriting the version that's there.
3. Delete the lservrc file from the Program folder and Start HyperChem to license again with the license you received from us last.
