HyperChem 6.x and 5.x Hardware Lock issues

with Windows 2000 & XP

There is a known compatibility issue with the hardware-locked version of HyperChem 6 and HyperChem 5 on Windows 2000 and Windows XP. An update to the hardware lock drivers fixes this compatibility issue. 

Please do the following:

1. Run setupx86.exe from the \drivers\win_nt folder on the HyperChem CD and select Remove Sentinel Driver. 

2.  Reboot the computer.

3. Download and install the current version of the Sentinel System Driver.

4. Reboot the computer and try HyperChem again.
